Go Green with Your Finances this Earth Day!

April 22nd is Earth Day! If you're thinking about making some green choices, consider going green with your finances too. LLCU has two simple ways to help make your finances greener - by utilizing Online/Mobile Banking and enrolling in eStatements. If you haven't signed up for your used either of these before this blog will walk you through how to get started and how to use them. 

ONLINE BANKING and MOBILE BANKING:
Online Banking is a great way to view loan information, make payments to your account, and sign up
for eStatements. To access online banking please visit llcu.org, you can also download our mobile app from your Apple or Android App Store.

Set Up Your Online Banking Account:

• Visit llcu.org from your web browser
• Click the Online Banking box on the home page.
• Click Enroll in Online Banking at the bottom of the pop up.
• Follow the prompts to set-up your Account. The personal information that must be verified is the primary loan holder’s information.

What makes this green?
By utilizing Online or Mobile banking for your transactions, loan payments, etc - You save yourself a trip to the credit union and reduce greenhouse gas emissions from your car and add more money in your pocket.

ESTATEMENTS:
Secure your personal information even more, reduce paper and conserve resources. With this free service, you can view, download or print an electronic version of your statement.

Enroll in eStatements: 
After you register for Online Banking, its easy to setup your electronic statements.

• Log on to Online Banking.
• Choose the eStatements tab.
• Follow the prompts to complete registration.

What makes this green?
When members receive electronic statements, there’s less need to cut down trees for paper. Trees help fight climate change by removing carbon dioxide from the air and releasing oxygen into the atmosphere.
