LLCU Announces Two Senior Management Level Promotions with Chris Smith as CFO and Jeri Conaway as Senior VP Member Services

Decatur, Illinois, October 26th, 2022– Land of Lincoln Credit Union (LLCU) announces two high-level promotions this week. The first, Chris Smith has been promoted to Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of LLCU. The second, Jeri Conaway has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Member Services.
Smith has served as Senior Vice President & Chief Compliance Officer at LLCU for four years. Prior to LLCU, Smith was Vice President of Internal Audit and Compliance Officer at SCB Bancorp, Inc. in Decatur, IL. Smith is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
Conaway has been with LLCU since 1998. Recently, she served as Assistant Vice President of Member Services at LLCU for nearly two years. Prior to that role, Conaway has served in the roles of Branch Manager, Credit Manager, Loan Officer, BillPay Administrator, and Relationship Manager Administrator.

Both Smith & Conaway will oversee operations at all 13 LLCU branches throughout central Illinois and will work primarily out of the Prosperity Place branch in Decatur, IL.
