Shared Branching Services Will End May 18th

LLCU is moving away from Shared Branching - but you have options. We've got you!

Beginning Monday, May 18th, 2026, LLCU will no longer participate in the Co-Op Shared Branching Network. This means that LLCU members will no longer be able to complete transactions at other participating credit unions with the Co-Op logo. Nor will LLCU be able to complete transactions for members of other credit unions at our branches.

This change is becoming increasingly common among credit unions nationwide as financial institutions refocus on direct member support, streamlining services, and enhancement of digital banking offerings bringing the convenience of banking services to your fingertips through your mobile devices. The need to shared branching services continues to diminish each day as digital banking becomes increasingly sophisticated and secure.

WHY IS SHARED BRANCHING GOING AWAY?

Many credit unions are choosing to discontinue shared branching participation in order to:

  • Improve member security and fraud protection.
  • Simplify internal operations.
  • Focus on direct support and service for our members.
  • Enhance digital tools to fit modern banking needs and practices.

WHAT ARE MY ALTERNATIVES?

You have NUMEROUS options available to you to complete the transactions you might have previously done with shared branching. To make it simple, we have created a table below outlining your alternative for the various transactions you may have previously done at a shared branch:

SHARED BRANCHING SERVICE MEMBER ALTERNATIVE
Free Cash Withdrawals • Withdraw at any LLCU ATM or ITM with your LLCU debit card.
• Find a fee-free ATM available to you through our partnership with MoneyPass®.
Cash or Check Deposits • Deposit in person at any LLCU branch, ATM or ITM.
• Deposit using Mobile Check Deposit on the LLCU mobile app.
• Deposit using a fee-free ATM available through our partnership with MoneyPass®.
Transfer Between Accounts Use LLCU Online Banking, or LLCU Mobile Banking to transfer funds between internal and external accounts. 
Loan Payments Make your loan payment through LLCU Online Banking, LLCU Mobile Banking app, in-branch, at an LLCU ITM, or by phone by calling 1-844-222-7788.
Transfer Between Accounts Use LLCU Online Banking, or LLCU Mobile Banking to transfer funds between internal and external accounts. 
Balance Inquiries • Check your LLCU account balance quickly and easily using LLCU Online or Mobile Banking, or visit an LLCU ATM or ITM.

• Check your account balance by calling our Member Solution Center during business hours at 1-844-222-7788.

• Check your account balance using LincolnLine Telebank at 1-800-500-9401.
Print Statements or Transaction History • You can access these documents in LLCU Online Banking or you can request print outs in-branch.

• Call our Member Solutions Center at 1-844-222-7788 to request a print out be mailed to you.
Out-of-Town Cash Deposit Locate a deposit-capable ATM or ITM with the MoneyPass® ATM locator. There is no cost to do so and funds are available immediately.
