Decatur, Illinois, November 14^th, 2023 – LLCU announced that Lucy Slightom has been promoted to the position of Branch Manager of the new LLCU branch in Nokomis, IL (formerly Nokomis Savings Bank). Slightom will oversee the sales and operations of the LLCU Nokomis branch, as well as serve as a Loan Officer. She has been with LLCU for over 2 years, serving most recently as a Loan Officer at the LLCU branch in Pana, IL. Prior to her employment at LLCU, Slightom was a Mortgage Loan Officer at Bank of Hillsboro (formerly National Bank).

Slightom is a native of Nokomis and graduated from Nokomis High School in 2010. She has nearly 15 years of banking experience, serving as a Teller, Loan Clerk, Loan Assistant and Loan Officer at various local financial institutions such as Security National Bank of Witt and Marine Bank in Springfield. Slightom is a Certified Financial Counselor, as well, offering free financial guidance with numerous literacy topics, including budgeting, credit score counseling, and more. Slightom will have an office at the Nokomis branch located at 100 W. State St., Ste. 4, Nokomis, IL.
