Set Travel Notifications for Your Cards

Before you head home for the holidays, or wherever your destination, it's a great idea to set a travel alert on your debit or credit card using your mobile app. Setting a travel alert helps prevent your card from being "flagged" for suspicious activity, which typically results in the card being "frozen" and you'll be unable to make any purchases with the card while traveling. There's nothing more frustrating, but the steps to avoid this situation are at your fingertips in the LLCU Mobile App. You don't even need to call us!

Follow these easy steps to set a travel alert on your card now:

1. Open your LLCU Mobile Banking App.
2. Click on "Cards" at the bottom of the page.
3. Scroll to the bottom and click on "Manage Travel Plans".
4. Click on the "+" next to "Add Travel Plan."
5. On the next page, you will likely see a security message that states we need to send you a "security token". This is a way to verify that you are who you say you are. Select the channel you would like to use to receive this security token and then click "NEXT".
6. Enter the security code you receive on the next page and click "NEXT".
7. Proceed to enter all the fields on the next page regarding your upcoming travel plans. When finished entering the details, click "SUBMIT".

Travel plans can be entered for the next 15 days. If your travels extend beyond that time frame, you will need to re-submit after that 15 days is up.

Please note, in order to set up travel alerts for your cards, you do first have to enroll in Online/Mobile Banking and enter your card information into the app once you've enrolled. For information on how to enroll, click HERE.
