On Monday, August 31^st, 2026, Land of Lincoln Credit Union (LLCU) completed its acquisition of Williamsville State Bank & Trust. At completion of this acquisition, LLCU has an estimated $580 million in assets. Additionally, through the acquisition, LLCU gained three new branch locations in Springfield, Williamsville, and Sherman, IL. The previous LLCU Springfield branch that was located at 300 S. Grand Ave is now closed and staff have moved to the new Springfield branch that was gained through the WSB acquisition. That new Springfield branch is located on Old Jacksonville Road in Springfield. After the acquisition, the total number of LLCU branch locations is 15 throughout 10 central Illinois cities.
